We here at Mind Piper, are working towards unpacking the stigma around mental health and demystifying the process of therapy.
Our innovative framework integrates the principles of psychiatry, psychology, and technology; with ‘community’ at the core of all we do. The idea is to create a culture of nurturance and acceptance within individuals and communities!
We envision a society in which mental health is valued, where we can understand and offer help to people with mental health concerns, and appreciate their contribution to the community.
We do not want any person who seeks help to feel alone, and clueless. To address the same, we are driven to provide you with a seamless experience. Our care managers will interact with you, and assist you with any help that you may require such as finding the right counsellor, procuring medicines and many more.
A meaningful therapeutic relationship between two individuals is incomplete without empathy. Mind Piper for us is a person who is interested in you, and is honest with you in the attempt to understand you. This may help you in unfurling with humility so that you can disentangle the threads that hurt on your own.
Desmond Tutu, a social rights activist, said that “people become people through people” and we could not agree more. We acknowledge the role that communities play of both nurturance and stigma, and therefore, our work on mental health is not limited to one-to-one sessions, but addressing the larger narrative of silence, prejudice and discrimination.
The knowledge about what kind of therapy helps most people is vital as without this solid basis, therapeutic interventions are at the risk of
involving personal opinions or using techniques that may not be the most helpful.
Our team, through their extensive training and experience, realise and acknowledge the
importance of adopting evidence-based practice.
